Overview

Responsibilities

  • Perform security walks throughout the hotel property and grounds, both inside and outside.
  • Know hotel emergency procedures and how to assist employees and guests when necessary.
  • Maintain key control procedures.
  • Ensure communication ability with the Front Desk is maintained at all times.
  • Ensure logs are filled out with detail.
  • Assist all guests with a warm, hospitable demeanor.
  • Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments, including housekeeping, trash pickup, item deliveries, assisting with front desk calls, changing batteries and light bulbs when necessary, and helping to create a great experience for our guests.

Qualifications

Previous customer service experience is a plus. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use hotel communication devices. This position requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift. You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Previous security experience is a bonus, but not required. pay:16.66$ per hour to $17.5 BOE
